Nashville, TN – Today, Alexander for Senate announced that the National Federation of Independent Businesses political action committee, the Save America's Free Enterprise (SAVE) Trust, has endorsed Senator Lamar Alexander in his re-election campaign for the United States Senate. The announcement follows yesterday's release of the endorsement of the United States Chamber of Commerce.
Congratulating Senator Alexander, Dan Danner, Executive Vice President of the NFIB, said, "Your re-election is not only critical to the small-business owners in your state, but also to protecting free enterprise across America. On behalf of all NFIB members, thank you for your service and congratulations on earning the endorsement of small business."
"I'm grateful to the National Federation of Independent Businesses PAC for their endorsement. In these challenging economic times, we must support small businessmen and women by keeping taxes low, tackling Washington's out of control spending, and protecting America’s competitiveness edge," said Senator Alexander.
The National Federation of Independent Business is the leading small business association representing small and independent businesses. A nonprofit, nonpartisan organization founded in 1943, NFIB represents the consensus views of its members in Washington and all 50 state capitals. Senator Alexander also is a past winner of NFIB's Guardian of Small Business award, given to those members of Congress who vote to protect free enterprise.
