    Thank You

Your support made a difference in my-re-election to the United States Senate. Thank you very much.

It is a privilege to represent Tennesseans in such serious times. As I did as Governor and during my first term in the Senate, I will work across party lines to get results on the big issues, including energy independence, controlling spending, and helping every American have access to affordable health insurance.

I will do my very best to continue to earn your confidence and support.

    A Note of Thanks

It's been quite a year in Tennessee politics. I've been involved in races from the local level to the federal level since I was a child, and I can honestly say I've never seen anything like it.

I've spent the past two years traveling the state both with and for Senator Alexander, meeting everyday Tennesseans, sharing and listening. I've talked to Republicans, Democrats and Independents, conservatives and liberals, and people who defy labels.

And the thing that's been most interesting to me is how no matter where I go, someone has a story about "Lamar," whether it's from his time walking across the state, his service as Governor or President of UT, or something he's been able to help with as United States Senator.

Lamar Alexander has a long history of service to our state. But none of it would have been possible without your support over the years.

The people of Tennessee deserve a special note of thanks. That's why on Tuesday, Senator Alexander launched his third television ad, "Thank You." I hope you'll take a moment to watch this special message, and then share it with your friends.

We have less than one week until election day, and we'll be calling on you to help us make that final push to put us through to victory.

But right now, I just want to take a moment to share this video with you, and extend my sincerest thank you as well.

    Our New Television Ad

On Thursday, we launched our second television ad, "Acts."

It reminds us all that while we face tough times, we shouldn’t forget the good that surrounds us in our families, our communities, our state and our nation – the anonymous acts of kindness, the unexpected acts of generosity.

After all, we live in the greatest country in the world and Tennessee is the very best of America.

Please take a moment to watch our new ad, and then share this optimistic message with your friends.
